Speed

For years the UAE has had a buffer of 20kmh above the posted speed limit, which generally meant most people drove to the buffer speed. In order to clarify things the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has abolished the buffer, and the posted speed limit is the maximum speed (how novel).

Also they have taken the opportunity to change the speed limits on some of the roads. Unfortunately I received a speeding ticket today where they changed the limit but forgot to put a new sign up.
