Summer returns...

with temperatures of 25C, hot and sunny.
Absolutely glorious down the glen, not a car or person in sight. Just a whooper Swan family, cob, pen and five cygnets, Peacock and Scotch Argus butterflies and wild flowers having a second season, Eyebright, Scabious, Heather, Heath, Thistle, Birdsfoot Trefoil and lots more.
So dry here at the dam, that we were able to cross the river on the old, now exposed, road!
