Mary's Shell

For the second day of our mini weekend away, we decided to take an hours drive up the coast to Thornton Cleveley's, just north of Blackpool.  We'd seen photographs of this shell sculpture on the beach before and so decided to go have a look for ourselves.

We had a wander down the coast, had some toasties for lunch and then we drove up to the wrecks in the estuary that are near here.  From there we drove home via a garden centre for tea and cake.
