MrP and his group played at the official opening of the restored Noble's Rest park in Kendal this afternoon. The red ribbon was cut by the Lord Lieutenant of Cumbria (female, so why isn't she Lady Lieutenant?) who referred in her speech to the land being given by Mrs Noble for future generations as a place where the elderly can relax and young children can play.
