Atmospheric

With the sun out and the tide in, I couldn’t resist a walk along the quayside at Eling on the upper reaches of Southampton Water this afternoon.

To be honest, the scenery doesn’t change a lot but there’s always something fascinating about a waterscape.

Today there were a few families crabbing from the quay wall, and with high water, a number of jet skiers taking to the water.

Sadly, I didn’t have hours to spend drinking in the atmosphere, or anything else for that matter. The quayside pub was closed for the afternoon for a private function!
