End of summer hedgerow

Busy weekend and we decided that we would do a little blackberrying this afternoon, so down to the cricket field to check out the hedgerow.  We harvested 2 kg of blackberries which we will put to various uses.

Looking at the hedgerow, the contrast with the ripe and unripe blackberries and the wild rose hips made a pleasant blip.

I think we might go back later in the week to plunder the other blackberries that should be ripe by then!
