Lifestyle blocks

Once upon a time the upwardly mobile purchaser of real estate would buy 4 hectares (10 acres) of land out from the city. A lifestyle block, on which to build a house, and then have lots of land to look after. Then lifestyle blocks were reduced to half the size; much easier for the busy city dweller to manage on the weekends.

It seems to me that the new form of lifestyle block is the central city apartment building.
