Greengages

Today’s picture is of two greengages; at least I think that is what they are. We do not often get any fruit from this tree, which is situated along our Western boundary. It has been there a long time, planted by the previous owners I presume, as I did not plant it. These two were eaten by my husband, but I also sampled some. . It is possible that this is not a greengage, but a small plum as one of the fruits has turned pink.

A lazy day, some knitting and some crochet although it was rather too hot to work on my Afghan. A brilliant and exciting Formula One race with the bonus of the right driver winning.
