Dear Diary,

I haven't done portraits in a long time but my neighbor's daughter wanted me to photograph her 10 month old baby.  She also wanted one in black and white.  She is a very serious little girl; very intensely looking at the world around her and, of course, transferring it to her mouth!

My color version, extra, was taken in the back yard garden.  No flower escaped her attention!  I have lots more images to go through and work on.  I am decidedly out of practice with this sort of thing.  It's been years since I tried a formal portrait.  I have a feeling I will have lots of opportunity to practice with sweet little one!
