"Awesome" Grandson Bennett

Skateboarding on our cul-de-sac. Definitely not something for Grandpas, but the kids take to it very quickly. Bennett was gifted a long board skateboard from his cousin and is still learning a bit of the ins and outs of it. It goes really fast, and there is a lot of room for your feet.

Makes me cringe from time to time watching him go, but learning and growing  requires a bit of failing and falling along the way, not just on skateboards, but in life in general. No time like the present to begin and to take responsibility for the consequences of one's own actions. Important life lessons imparted by skateboarding.
