Birsay on a Bonnie September Day

The Current Mrs Creel was out and about with her camera late in the day and brought home this Blip.  I then dug up a lot of ground elder.  Not an easy task – especially as it was amongst the Astrantias.  I’ve never had it easy.   But of course it’s all part of my community payback scheme.  It may be an easier option to tunnel out – but there’s always the danger of the tunnel coming out in CMC’s sister’s garden.

It has just been announced that the next controversial topic in the Reith Lectures will be ‘Just who is the thinking man’s Deryck*Guyler?’.

*Apparently he was born during a printers’ strike on Wallasey.
