A joy this morning to see hundreds of small white butterflies around Ingbirchworth res and 2 painted ladies, 10+ small tortoiseshells and more small whites in a garden near the res. Small whites have had a brilliant year. It was hot and humid before the rain came. Now it's chilly and wet....
