Alicante

I was beginning to think Alicante lacked the character and charm of other Spanish cities... but then I discovered the old town. It's a bit of a climb to find it, but it's worth the effort. I loved its whitewashed houses, often with elaborate decoration, greenery and flowers. There's also a special view.
