Last Day of Winter

... and I have Roses in Flower

Back Blip from Akaroa

So odd to see the roses coming into flower in August... the woman next to me said it has been a mild but wet winter in Akaroa. I noticed a few plants that die down over winter still have their leaves. The ground sure is really wet.

We had lots of rain today and I am hoping the lawn will dry out tomorrow as it is to be a warm day. I mowed the lawns last Sunday but they have grown so much since. Mostly because we have had a lots of rain and three really warm days of around 20c. Today is only 8c.
