Tiny Tuesday....Robin's Pincushion

A lazy breakfast with Serpentine, followed by a lovely woodland walk this morning, with some foraging for wild flower seed heads for our gardens. She discovered this distortion on a wild rose called a Robin's Pincushion, made by a gall wasp laying her eggs in an unopened leaf axillary. I had never seen one before, rather beautiful and perfect for today's challenge.......Thanks to dibfulco for hosting this month.:)
I wonder if this can be included in Miranda's wild flower challenge? Will give it a tag in case:)
Home again this afternoon after a couple of days of being very spoiled.....
Thanks so much  again for the comments and stars yesterday :)
