Out of the fire

The view inside Ophelia's kiln. We are 12 days after the day of firing, the filn is still warm but not hot.

Ophelia started opening the kiln this morning, she wasn't ready to share that with anyone. Being careful not to make any noise she started opening the door , brick by brick this morning at 9 O'clock. I was invited an hour later.

It is too early for her comment yet, to my untrained eye there are some amazing pieces.
