Field Trip

Today I had a field trip out to the Norfolk countryside. We went to a pretty area in south Norfolk (Fritton) that has a common, hedgerows, and other relevant things for us to nerd over. Essentially it was a walk in the countryside with a good excuse. The day was spectacular, sandwiched between yesterday's gloom and tomorrow's predicted cloudiness, and it was really very very nice.

This house is a lobby-entry house, common in the 17th and 18th century. I'm not at all sure about the shade of pink, but I quite like the house generally, although it does look a little fairy-tale-esque.
