Sun on the Forth

Morning train ride into Edinburgh today. It's a beautiful journey, changing with every mile and changing with the seasons. I love the light on the water as the railway line follows the banks of the Forth before crossing the bridge.

I enjoy holding my camera phone to the window and clicking periodically as we whizz along, then finding out what I managed to capture afterwards. I liked the framing of this one, with the bare branches giving dark contrast to the light on the water, and just the hint of the island in the distance.
