MEET UP

There should have been 5 of us but for various reasons 3 dropped out. However it was great to meet up with Sally (a friend I started teacher training with in 1982). She had a 2 for 1 voucher so we went up the Shard (haven’t been to the top despite O working on floor 34 for a while!!). We enjoyed a mocktail under the open roof. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and there were hardly any people there!!
Afterwards we walked along the South Bank and then stopped for lunch by Tower Bridge.
It was a great day...hope it’s not a year+ before we meet again.

Thankful...that we kept the date despite others dropping out.
