Moral Support

Zion’s first day of school! He was cool as a cucumber marching into school clutching his book bag. He didn’t even look at me to say bye so I decided he was ok if we left!

His teacher gave each parent a paper bag to help us cope - will add an extra - very thoughtful! Though I did think of any parents we’re on the edge this would definitely push them over!

Anyhow, he survived, loved his school lunch and told me: “I didn’t have a great day, but it was good.” I’ll take that!

Meanwhile Allegra was very reluctant to be dragged out of his school when we left him - why shouldn’t she get to play?! However, I get the feeling she is going to thrive from her moments as an only child - she loves the attention!
