Self-help

A lot more ground covered on Day Two than Day One with students in for their first day. Year 7s welcomed first thing and very impressive they were too. An assembly, a fire drill and a few too many conversations about uniform saw the day through. Our weekly meeting was more efficient than we have come to expect which is good news. The cake was appreciated and there was time at the end to get quite a few things done before heading home to walk Bailey. A delivery provided a couple of books: poetry and quotes - my version of self-help which will provide some coping mechanisms for this year. If the last two days are anything to go by, putting a limit on how many emails people are allowed to receive in a day would be a good starting point!
