High Skies Reflected

Today's main activity was the long walk, a circuit walk taking in a lot of forest, a lake, some fields, a valley, a sand quarry, a spring, and a small island with a slowly disintegrating old picnic table, as you can see here.
The sun shone for most of the walk with cumulus clouds steadily increasing in number and size until eventually they more-or-less covered the sky and the sun went!
After the walk we took a quick swim but the water was cold (17°C) and I don't think it likely I'll be swimming in my home area again this year.
The activities ended with a TaiChi session in town. Four of us who have learned similar variants of TaiChi decided to meet once a month for 1 to 2 hours of training, and tonight was the first meeting.
