Plover

This - unless I am very much mistaken - is a semi-palmated plover. I generally see ONE of them on the beach at some point during our September vacation. Tons of *peeps* - most of them sanderlings - and then every now and then, something slightly different is amongst them.

Another hot day!

The eagle was in the same tree again, but we walked south instead of north on the beach today, so no shot of him close enough to bother with.

I'll tag this for Tiny Tuesday. Not precisely tiny, but a lot smaller than the eagle!
