Tiny Hummingbirds

An aimless day...
Made a quilt block for no reason.
Played with shutter speed and aperture. 
And interesting light.
Hummingbird feeders are really ugly.
But it's difficult to catch hummingbirds in mid-air.
I tried....Up close but not much detail.
There were two of them
Flirting or ambushing?
Hard to say...but it looked like an ambush to me.
Thinking of Julia saying as she was leaving for college in Connecticut.
"I'm worried that I'm not more worried."
That's called confidence, Julia.
So far she loves it.
But it hasn't snowed yet....
That might be fun for awhile
for a Southern California  Valley Girl....
