An Unusual Flyer.....

I was out at the nursery today, looking around in the back where there were many blooming plants, probably the last time for this year.  As the days grow shorter the tropical plants tend to bloom less.
     Around some of the taller grasses and weeds I spied this colorful damsel .....   I don't think I have ever seen a solid red dragon fly.  I believe this poor thing has lost a wing, be it older, in a battle, or caught and injured some how.  She seemed to be quite content to let me poke my camera very close to her.  When I got it back to the computer, I realized she was missing a whole wing.
