Election Day

The 2018 State Election for Massachusetts took place today; here are partisans with their placards, as close as they were allowed to the polling place (the Northampton Senior Center). I'm posting this as a blip because in the current political environment elections are specially important--above all the national elections coming up on November 6th.  Not much else to report; we continue to watch the U.S. Open tennis--e.g. an excellent match between Del Potro of Argentina and the American John Isner--a battle  of serves, won by Del Potro in four sets.
