Winter Games Race Day

I was at the Snow Farm in time to see the short course races.  Guys 1,500 metres, girls 1,000 metres.  They all passed me with great speed!  The extras are the scenery that I saw while on my snow shoe walk.

The sky was a beautiful blue, but there was a cold wind, which was good, because it kept the temperature on the cool side.  Not as hot as it was last Friday!  I finished the day with a nice hot chocolate before heading for home with my friend from Cromwell.  A perfect day in the mountains.
