Tour of Britain

Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain came past my front door today. These were the leading riders; no names or numbers that I could see, and in any case I know nothing about cycle racing. So these may be famous people; no idea.

I was a bit surprised at how few participants there were. I would say the the support motorbikes and cars easily outnumbered the bikes.

As a souvenir of sorts, one of the riders threw his water bottle away and it bounced across the road and off my shin. Not my kind of souvenir, so I left it for one of the fans.
