Beloved Book #8 & 9

Two for one today: words organised by meaning, and in the background by spelling (The Compact Edition of the OED). The Roget was a prize for English at the precocious age of 13. A generous (large, plentiful, indulgent, liberal) gift from the Dragon School. The OED was half price, slightly foxed, at Blackwell's at a later stage of learning. 

Vision a bit odd after those stinging eyedrops for a retina scan: a brighter if slightly blurry world. And a clean bill.
