Testing the water!

A trip to Aberfoyle wouldn't be complete without a quick stop at the Lake of Menteith.

It was a beautiful morning and three girls were sitting on the jetty waiting for the wee boat to come and take them out to the island of Inchmahome in the middle of the lake.

I was told that the water was really quite warm but I wasn't prepared to try it for myself!
