...again outside our Hôtel de Ville where I went today to start off my application for Belgian citizenship.

After a 40 minute bum-numbing wait in a seedy corridor I got to meet a lovely woman who immediately put my nerves on one side & told me what I need to do.

A part of this involves getting a new birth certificate - spent all night trying to breach https://www.gov.uk/order-copy-birth-death-marriage-certificate they're pretty difficult, but I'll get the better of them...
