Old stones and young bones.

This morning we packed a picnic and headed for the beach. We went north and east, across the spectacular new Forth Crossing and round to Aberdour. The above was taken at the castle but we moved on to the Silver Sands and lunch on the beach. Surprisingly despite the glorious warm sunny day, the beach was not in the least busy. Little Chloe was unimpressed by the sea, refusing to even put a paw in! However, she did like the sand and tried to dig for Australia. Sand was flying everywhere (except into our sandwiches) and I wish I had taken a photo of all I could see of Chloe, her bum and tail sticking out of a big hole!
Home later and Fiona, James & Annabelle popped in then we all went to meet Euan & Eve from school. It was great to get the whole gang together, even for a short time.
