Bancalets.

Woo hoo! We are here! Back in wonderful Menorca.

We are staying in Playa de Fornells in the Bancalets complex. Our little apartment is top right. We have stayed here a couple of times before and like the area very much.

We arrived yesterday afternoon after a very good flight with easy jet. Then it was off to a supermarket to stock up on essentials before heading for the apartment. Supper last night was a short walk away and then off to bed!

Woke this morning with a nice selection of mosquito bites despite the fact we have a mozzie machine. Grrrrrr. They just love me! Then a very lazy breakfast before settling down to read. Oh the pleasure of having time to read. I am currently reading The Handmaid’s Tale. It is an acclaimed book but the jury is still out on this one as yet!

We decided to go to Fornells for a quick pre lunch beer which was very nice. Then home to a light lunch before an afternoon of more reading.

This evening we headed for The Mill at Es Mercadal for a delicious meal. We first visited this little local restaurant 35 years ago on our honeymoon and have been eating here ever since!

Now a little more reading before bed. Mmmmmmm......
