Society of Frustration

In order to update our trade licence, senior members of staff have to be members of the UAE Society of Engineers. It has got nothing to do with experience, and solely if your undergraduate degree is recognised by the Society.
One of our directors who is a past President of the Royal Institute of British Architects, can't be admitted as his exam marks from university in the 1970's are not available, and the University no longer does an architecture course
