Crocodile Bridge

When my grandson was five and visiting here. we took the greenway path behind the house to go to the playground in Fairhaven Park. Not far into the walk we came to this little bridge over Padden Creek. When I asked him what he saw in the water, he said "crocodiles". "I'm impressed" I said. "Not many people can see them. You must have very good eyes". And that's how the bridge got its name. At six and a half he no longer sees them. Even so, we always go and have look.
