Big Top

I spent the day hanging out in Vancouver Central Library; working away, staring out of the window and eating chocolate.

A combination of eating chocolate and being inside for too long encouraged me to walk all the way home from the centre of town (5km). Once you get onto Dunsmuir it's pretty much a straight line for 4.8ish km and then a couple of blocks left, it's odd that because I don't think you'd get such a straight route in the UK, maybe in Milton Keynes but that would be punctuated by a few thousand roundabouts.

Walking over the Dunsmuir viaduct at the same height as the cars on the bridge, above the road below and the skytrain track somewhere in between, is an interesting perspective on the world. A big top has appeared in the last few days which peers over the farside of the viaduct announcing Circ du Soleil are in town.

I was feeling a bit anxious after my day spent making slow progress in the library, it's going to be ok though, Martin Creed told me 'Everything is going to be alright' glowing neon in the distance.
