Spring Gold.....

The Wattle trees are blooming all over Marlborough. They are prolific along river banks. This one was beside a track Maisie and I walked early this morning. When one looks closely the detail in each individual flower is amazing. After several days enduring foul weather in Wellington the weather here in Marlborough gave some relief apart from the bitterly cold south east wind which blew from late morning.
