Yesterday it was the mist, today you have Rowan berries. Traditionally every garden had a rowan tree to ward off evil,spirits. This is ours.

I’ve felt weary today so more or less slonked on the sofa with my book. Tonight we are going to a friend’s for a meal. They've been away so I’ll need to find some enthusiasm for the comparison between this infinity pool and the last one, which is the make or break of her holiday. A cocktail will help.
