The Lost Words

A beautiful book by Robert Macfarlane's and illustrated by Jackie Morris. This book illustrates words from the natural world that were left out of the Oxford Junior Dictionary. Words like adder, conker, dandelion had to make way for broadband, tablet, texting etc.
The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust crowd funded to give this lovely book to every school in Lincolnshire and today I went with 2 other members of the Trust to collect books for our area. I am looking forward to delivering them to local schools.
