New hip here I come

View at 7.30 this morning. Hip replacement done at 12. Spent the afternoon waiting for the spinal anesthetic to wear off. If you are interested I have had the AMIS procedure. The surgeon has not cut any muscles  I will be able to drive  in two weeks, hopefully , but must use crutches for four. Big advantage of this procedure is that I am allowed to swim doing  breast stroke because no risk of dislocation. The only thing I can't do for three months is lunges. That's not a problem. Extra shows my trusty traveling cup to make sure I get a decent size cuppa.
