Nose Work

Today was Nose Work day in the Dog Club, but not until after a busy day at work.

Meeting in Sorø in the morning. Then 20 mins drive to Stenlille for a meeting. Back to Sorø for another meeting and then a couple of hours in Stenlille... A lot of driving back and forth!

I arrived to the dog club early enough to have a dog dancing training session with Hero. I even managed a little heelwork training with Gollum before his Nose Work class.

In Nose Work, dogs learn to search for a specific odor or odors and find the source. Today it was lavender as that is the first odor they will meet if they ever get to go to a competition. 

Gollum and his sister Ex-it are in the same Nose Work class and they enjoy each other's company between their searches. This is Gollum and Ex-it with Helle and some of the other dogs searching in the back ground.

Biscuit had his Nose Work class after Gollum's, so it has been a long day. It was 8 pm, when we arrived home.
