Dear Diary

Ok so this is not the best photo in the world but it had to be my blip.

This was the one thing today that made me laugh until my sides hurt and there were tears running down my face, something that doesn't happen often right now. It is an entry from 1999 from my then 10 year old daughter's diary. She is now 23 and was having a clear out today when she found this and read random bits of it out to me. This one had us both rolling about laughing.

This one says (with corrected spelling!!):
Today you may have guessed it was the eclipse. I think it's cool and everything but I don't see what the big fuss is about. Mum went away this afternoon. She was meant to go in the morning but she thought the world was going to end so she stayed at home.

What more can I say that would explain this or make it any less funny!!! I love my children!! I fear for my sanity!!
