FF - Dahlia

It's been a lovely September day but a slow day for photography.  I've been out and about and didn't really get much opportunity for taking any time for photos - that is until I got back home. 

I've been catching up with my friend A this morning and running a few errands.  My friends's partner suffered a detached retina about 3 months ago and has only just learnt that he's actually been very lucky in terms of his recovery.  Apparently many people either lose their sight or have seriously reduced vision in the affected eye and I know they're both thankful that he has been one of the more fortunate ones.

We're both looking forward to the weekend which we'll spend with the family - I hope you all have a good weekend too.
