Chinese lanterns

It has been a chilly and rather wet day and by 3.30 I felt in need of fresh air and excercise. I walked the streets, climbing the hill behind my home where the views were magnificent especially north towards the Cheviot Hills. The Chinese lanterns were in a local garden on my way home.
