Pugh and Barney McGrew stepped down from this fire engine whilst the driver stayed inside the cab.

That was this afternoon and there was no sign of sparks, smoke ,flames or anything. They knocked at the door but I don't know what happened after that.

Apart from going to North Shields this morning nothing more exciting has happened.

Tomorrow is another day.
