More sunflowers!

The two sunflowers who had their large flower buds stolen by squirrels last month have now sprouted nine flowers between them! Pretty impressive way for nature to find a way!

The plumber returned this afternoon to sort out the heating mystery (radiators hot even though heating was switched off). Turns out it was a valve which had worn through so the heating was never shut off - when the hot water was switched on, the system thought we needed maximum heating too.

So now... hopefully... all is sorted out and will work sensibly. Touch wood.
