This month we read ‘My Name Is Leon’ by Kit de Waal.
A funny story about the life of a nine year old boy whose life goes through a crisis. Doesn’t sound like a funny story but it mostly is. Being read by Lenny Henry was the cherry on the cake. And talking about cake...the highlight of the afternoon is tea and cake. I made apple and almond cake to help the host out. What you see above is all that was left, and the host asked to keep it.
Home made fish and chips for dinner. Yum.
