Catching the light

S had her regular visit from her nails specialist. Natalie comes to ours, as she sold her business, and finds this way much better. Daughter J came back from a site visit, sorting out a complication in the building process, in time to tag on the end. After all that was over, S and I drove north to Snells Beach. Her mother is doing pretty well after the big scare of a few weeks ago. S brother is here, as will be his daughter over from London for a fortnight. He is about to celebrate a big birthday.

I mamanaged to get down the steps to Southend of Snells Beach. Not a lot of avian activity this afternoon. Tucked in below a bank is a pool created by a stream running down the bank and eventually out into the Bay. I saw a number of Tauhou (Silvereyes) splashing in the water. Too fast moving in the water, so this is my best photo.

I particularly like the drops of water reflecting the sunlight as the wee Tauhou shook off the excess water.
