On yer bike

After our big climb yesterday, we took to bikes and cycled around Polonnaruwa, a site with lots of temples... some of which dated from a 1000 years ago. Beautifully carved Buddhas, still being worshipped today. Some Hindu temples too, with the monkeys standing by for any coconuts or pineapples left as offerings.
