delightful displays

A quiet saturday here but excitement in the street as the daughter of a neighbour got married today so it was nice seeing the wedding cars pull up outside - classic cars always put modern vehicles to shame! Thankfully the weather has stayed dry for them too!

And then I've been for a wander to the local horticultural show with my mum, where there were lots of lovely flowers on display - lots of Dahlias I drooled over as well as bountiful fruit and veg displays! Loved this simple display of flower heads which won a prize!  There was also a plant stall at the show so I may have bought a few hyacinth bulbs so now just need to decide where to put them!
